NNR had started its operations on February 1, 1994 with the global vision of Nishitetsu in combination with the wealth of experience of the Malaysian company in the freight forwarding and airline industry. Though NNR started its journey initially to cater to the transport and distribution needs, the main objective was to meet the challenge of the rising demands for a reliable yet cost-effective worldwide logistics service.

NNR Global Logistics open up Penang branch in September 1994 in the vicinity in the Penang International Airport. There after open Johor Bharu branch in 1995 to serve the Southen region. Since then, NNR Global Logistics has also embark on logical growth in setting up 3PL warehouse in the Klang Valley linking the Multinational companies with their global network all round the world.
